Wicked Eden has garnered widespread acclaim for its innovative approach to “merging art, culture, community, and sexual expression.” Celebrated for its unique blend of creative and erotic arts, Wicked Eden is a safe, inclusive home for the LGBTQIA+, GSRM (Gender Sexual and Romantic Minorities), BIPOC, and SW community.

The New Wicked Eden
RADICAL EMPOWERMENT in Columbus, OH
Originally founded by Alexandra Snow in 2008, Wicked Eden has existed as a home for creative and dynamic adventures in central Ohio.
In 2023, Wicked Eden took a new evolution: a destination for amazing, life-changing experiences. Wicked Eden is now operated by the Autonomy Project, a 501c3 non-profit dedicated to fostering a safe, inclusive, and empowering environment where individuals from the LGBTQ+, alternative lifestyle, and sex work communities can thrive. We are entirely femme/NB/queer volunteer operated.
We offer classes, workshops, mentorship, personalized sessions, studio rentals, social, fundraisers, and themed events—all designed to help educate and empower you along your individual journey. We provide rentals and overnight packages of our beautiful space for you to explore and connect, to create content, or make art.
We believe that all people should be able to live their lives as they see fit, without fear of persecution or discrimination. We strive to create safe spaces for people who are marginalized by society, including sex workers, LGBTQIA+ folks, sex-positive creatives, polyamorous/ENM people, and those all across the gender spectrum.
We celebrate diversity in all its forms–from inclusion to gender identity to sexual preferences–and work toward eradicating racism and marginalization wherever we find it.
It’s a place for those who felt like they never belonged, to create and inspire and grow and heal and thrive and most importantly, BE THEMSELVES. We believe that sexuality and sexual exploration are holistic parts of being human, and so have created a safe haven where that is only one aspect of what we offer.
That’s why our programming is so diverse, it reflects the diversity of the people who call this place home. And it could be your home too.

The Autonomy Project
Wicked Eden is operated by the Autonomy Project, now officially a 501c3 non profit organization, The Autonomy Project is dedicated to fostering a safe, inclusive, and empowering environment where individuals from the LGBTQ+, alternative lifestyle, and sex work communities can thrive. Through educational initiatives, advocacy efforts, creating unique experiences, the use of art and music, and the creation of a supportive community, we aim to uphold the principles of consent and personal freedom, encouraging every individual to live authentically and without judgment. Our mission is to nurture a vibrant, informed, diverse, and connected community that stands together, creates for one another, advocates for one another, and creates pathways for personal and collective growth.
We strongly advocate for the decriminalization of sex work and strive to provide support and community for the LGBTQIA+ community, kink practitioners, and those exploring alternative lifestyles. We celebrate diversity and work towards eradicating racism and marginalization in all forms. Through our commitment to respect, inclusivity, and the celebration of diverse sexualities, we aim to empower individuals to embrace their authenticity and live fulfilling lives on their own terms.
We believe that everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and respect regardless of their race or gender identity. Our goal is to create an environment where people can feel comfortable being themselves without fear of judgment or prejudice. We believe in celebrating diversity by providing education on topics such as sexual health and safety; we also believe that every person has the right to choose who they want to be in life without feeling like they have been limited by society’s expectations.

We are located in Columbus, Ohio, just 8 minutes south of downtown on South High St. We are:

No, all activities are by appointment only, or are ticketed events. Keep an eye on the events page for open house days and community events to see our space in person.

Wicked Eden is truly unlike any space you’ve ever seen, and as such, might be a bit hard to wrap your head around. Although it has many features of a play space, dungeon, sex-positive. queer event space, photo/video studio, and more — it’s as different from the traditional versions of these things as it is similar. This is something more.
It’s a community space, a home for the people who exist at the intersectionality of the creative, sex work, kink, BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, nerdy, and exploring worlds. We host vanilla events and kinky ones, discussion groups and healing workshops, and so much more. We are a nonprofit LGBTQIA+ space that exists for the education and empowerment of everyone in the alternative lifestyle community– whether you be a person of color, a trans person, disabled, neurodivergent, or just exploring yourself.
Yes! We are completely ADA accessible with entrance ramps, wheelchair accessible showers, and ample space in hallways and common areas for all types of mobility needs.

Yes we do! We have a beautiful overnight suite that is “Kink B&B style” with kitchen, lounge area, private showers, and access to one or more play rooms during your stay.
Memberships are not required for many of our events, but any event that is “sexual” in nature (such as play parties) requires all patrons to be members.
Memberships can be obtained for as little as $20/month or $30 for a 30 day trial, to let you gauge if this space is right for you.
We host multiple types of events each month, from social events and classes to themed parties to healing and wellness events.

Absolutely! Providing education and support for sex workers is one of our primary missions and we offer everything from classes to coaching to community driven initatives.
We are completely supported by our members by way of donations, memberships, and events. We welcome your tax-deducted donations here.
